GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Are you currently practicing?

Yes! I'm licensed and registered in the states of Oregon and Colorado and maintain an active practice in Colorado.
However, I am now acting in the capacity of a health coach, so I can serve more people outside the area of my clinical practice.

What is your training?

I received my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona in 2001. Following completion of school, I spent an additional 2 years in a residency program at the National University of Natural Medicine's Family Practice Residency program in Portland, Oregon. I also received a Certificate of Clinical Research from Oregon Health & Sciences University.
As of this year (2018) I've been in practice for 17 years.

Additionally, I've taken numerous courses through the American College of Sports Medicine, and I'm an active endurance athlete. I really walk the talk!

Do I have to see you in person?

No. We are set up to work with you via phone or video conference, or if you prefer in person at my Fort Collins, Colorado office.

Do you take health insurance?
No. The Endurance Health & Performance program is a health coaching program and is therefore not eligible as an insurance reimbursable service.

How does the program work?
Here's everything that's included in the program.
Very briefly, the program is broken down into:
-
Initial 60-minute intake where we discuss every aspect of your health, lifestyle, nutrition and training
-
Get all 7 of the comprehensive functional labs ordered
-
At the Review of Findings session (60 minutes) all your results are explained in a detailed, yet understandable way
-
A personalized Health and Performance protocol is also reviewed during the Review of Findings session - this document will contain everything you need to know to change your health, based on what we know about you and your lab results
-
We'll have two additional 30-minute Follow Up sessions, spaced roughly 3-4 weeks apart, so we can check in, and fine tune the changes you're making.
-
During the course of the program, participants have full access to me via email and brief phone conversations as needed.
Once we confirm your participation in the Endurance Health and Performance program, we'll send you a Welcome Packet that includes all of the details you'll need to know. I keep the number of participants in the program at a low number so that I have the time to answer your questions promptly.
And, if you still have questions (which I know you will!), please schedule a complimentary discovery session phone call so I can get all your questions answered!
